Crossy Road

Crossy Road takes a very old idea, getting safely from one side to the other, and turns it into an endless arcade challenge. You guide a small blocky character across busy roads, floating logs, train tracks, and other hazards that appear in an ever-changing layout. The controls are simple, but the timing has to be sharp.

What makes it work is how quickly a calm run can turn chaotic. One bad hop, one mistimed sidestep, and it is over. There are plenty of unlockable characters and visual variety, but the main appeal is still the same stubborn urge to beat your last score by just a few more spaces.
