Age of War 2 is a strategy game about keeping your base alive long enough to outgrow the enemy. You begin with basic prehistoric units and gradually evolve through several eras, unlocking stronger troops, tougher defenses, and better ways to pressure the other side. The trick is knowing when to spend on units, when to hold back for upgrades, and when to push into the next age before your opponent does. It looks straightforward, but the balance between offense and defense gives it more bite than you might expect. Watching a scrappy early army turn into a wall of advanced weapons is still a pretty satisfying payoff.
